Resizing or modifying the designs is not recommended. Is it easy to make an appliqué? TOP
Yes, it's very easy with these instructions,
Hoop the material that your finished design will be on just as you would for any kind of machine embroidery design.
Make sure to look in the color chart folder included with your embroidery design files. It will indicate which steps the placement guide and the tackdown are. The color chart file is saved in a JPEG format.
Once the outline (placement guide) is complete, your machine will stop. Remove the hoop from the machine but don't unhoop the fabric. Use a temporary spray adhesive on the back of the piece of your appliqué fabric. Place that piece of fabric over the outline stitches, make it large enough to adequately cover the outline stitches. Put back the hoop and press start. The machine will stitch a double run of straight stitches.
When the tacking stitches are done, remove the hoop from the machine but once again, don't unhoop the fabric. Carefully trim away the excess appliqué fabric from around the tacking stitches as close as you can, small curved scissors is highly recommended. Put back the hoop and proceed with the next step.
You may have to repeat that process if more than one piece of appliqué fabric is added to the design. Just follow the color chart and these easy instructions and soon you won't be able to stop your embroidery machine from stitching :) What if I have other questions or concerns? TOP
